Nicky is a brilliant, gifted artist whom I have known for many years. I have seen many examples of her diverse talents first-hand, and several of Nicky’s works have pride of place on my wall at home. Her versatility and creativity are boundless. One of my favourite examples was the cover which she designed for a compilation album which I commissioned in the 1990s, in the style of a Marvel comic strip. More recently, I recorded a solo album and had no hesitation in approaching Nicky to design the cover. Nicky’s design involved the imaginative concept of fusing a guitar with a Swiss Army knife – I loved the idea, and her brilliant piece became the cover of my album! I highly recommend Nicky!
